Drawing was his life. He was a modest man, yet sophisticated, witty, tolerant, softhearted, but he disputed injustice!
He worked for a rather nationalist Flemish satirical paper, but he had a (progressive) mind of his own.
He was always bantering and making gestures in a pythonesque manner. As kids, we were totally attracted to him, hilarious entertainment guaranteed. Observe the archness in his rascal eyes!
In 1981, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer, so all who knew him had to miss his beautiful mind. He passed away on August 9, 1995.

having viewed but a glimpse of who he is journeying forth behind YOUR eyes, i have faith the journey will be far and wide for as long as you each shall live on via such medium.
