The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life Jessica Hische I’m a self-taught French artist based in the north of England. After several years of working in education ‘my hobby’ grew into ‘my passion’ and it has now become my second ‘job’. Inspired by the trials and tribulations of those around me (both good and bad) my explorations currently center around a cartoon character named Dolie and (through her) the communication of complex ideas using minimal lines and colour. In addition to navigating the transition from paper to tablet and publishing the exploits of Dolie, I design tattoos, exhibit fine art pieces and transform discarded objects.
