A-1 is large single engined cool, devastating and powerful aircraft!!! I like powerful design like P-47, Seafurry, A-1, Tempest etc. Until the first half of 1946, A-1 Skyraider was BT2D Destroyer. It is not a fast plane but its remarkable point is very large payload produced by Wright R-3350 Cyclone 18 2800 horse power against its small size!! It can carry as many as 3130kg weapons!!! And was in service by 1970s. Skyraider is a result of American high industrial technology , abundant resources and Douglas excellent designers.
