As the NY Jets stumble towards a winless season, they're clearly in the driver seat for the 1st pick in the draft & Trevor Lawrence, a once-in-a-generation QB who would've been picked #1 after his frosh & soph seasons. But he may not be the answer, as speculation has abounded (including Joe Namath) that Lawrence may choose to dodge the bullet of being drafted by Jets by making demands pre-draft or simply staying one more year at Clemson.

And who's to say that 1 more year will change the overall scenario? It's not hard to imagine that in another year this dysfunctional Jet squad will be in precisely the same situation. And then what will the NFL's next great quarterback do?
