Russia and the Netherlands are celebrating 400 years of relations between the two countries, but many people feel the celebrations are inappropriate given the anti-gays laws in Russia, and the persecution of Greenpeace activists (the ship Arctic Sunrise sailed under the Dutch flag). The government, however, seems to think economic interests are more important that ethics.
